PLACES & SPACES CHALLENGE

Inspiring the Next Generation Of Active Citizens & Place Makers

Places & Spaces designed by school students across one school term by students for their communities

Educators share the goal of building the capacity and capability of Kindy to Year 12 students to improve the places & spaces in which they live and learn. The shared objective of NEXT CHALLENGES is to help school neighbourhoods and town centres become places where people feel safe and welcome and choose to walk, wheel, ride, play, and participate positively in the community.

We help schools unleash the potential of technology in learning to skill up students and teachers to be masters of, not slaves to, technology. The human-centred design process ensures Places & Spaces Challenges are real and human.

The Next Learning team works with groups of hyper-motivated students to reimagine Places & Spaces in their local community. These real-world learning experiences are supported by the shared endeavours of school leaders, teachers, local Councils & community groups.
