Training of the indigenous Banjima Country Rangers and their managers on the use of the Apple iPad in a mobile setting.
Banjima Rangers are an integral part of the Banjima Yurlubajagu Indigenous Organisation. Banjima Yurlubajagu means ‘Lands of the Banjima’. The Banjima Country comprises over a 1,000,000 ha of land sitiuated in the central Pilbara region of Western Australia. It addresses conservation values including Manggurdu (Fortescue River and floodplain), Karijini and Birdirrla ranges, Wirlawali Creek and cultural values important to Banjima that help the community to look after that country.
